2018 Seattle RV Show

RV Show Season Is Here

RV Show Season Is Here… RV shows are starting to pop up on the calendar for 2018, so why should you go? Whether you’re just looking, wanting to know more about RVing or know what you want, there really is no better place to see it all at one time.

You’ll see all of the different types of RVs at a show so you can go through them and see what would work best for how you want to use your RV. Do you want an all-in-one, a towable, a light-weight? At a show, you’re free to browse and ask questions along the way.  Dealers will often have manufacturer’s reps on-site and you can compare the different features and benefits of various models and brands. If you need more time, the shows usually run for 4 days so you can come back and see more or ask more questions.  Dealers are also there to sell so you can get some good deals at a show.

RV Types

If you are new to RVing, go to a show first and educate yourself. If you are already living the RV Lifestyle, go to a show to see what’s new…new technologies, new features, new models and new accessories.

2018 Seattle RV Show DisplaysThe Seattle RV Show is the largest show in the Pacific Northwest and is in its 55th year. The show is being held at CenturyLink Field Event Center on February 8-11. This show truly has it all with over 20 dealers and hundreds of RVs to see.  In addition, you’ll find some great seminars that include such topics as Boondocking 101, Full-Time RVing, Solar Energy, RV Basics, Exploring Your Washington State Parks, RVing to Alaska, Proper Travel Trailer Towing and many more.  It’s the perfect place to gain knowledge about technical aspects, travel destinations and RV lifestyle options and ask these experts questions. This show is family-friendly with a fun pirate Treasure Hunt for the kids and free babysitting for children under 10 on the weekend.

Seattle RV Show SeminarYou’ll also see some interesting attractions at this show.  The “Ask the Technician” display is supported by experienced service technicians on-hand to answer all of your questions and demonstrate some of the latest new “Mods, Accessories and More”.  If you’re a newbie, take an hour to go through the “Hands on RV 101” where you will be walked through the operational systems of an RV and see how easy it is. If you like to do activities when you RV, stop by the “Bring Your Toys” display and see all the fun things you can do from your RV including a great display of off-road electrical bicycles.

Ask the RV TechTo really go fully prepared for this show, the Seattle RV Show mobile app makes it easy to lay out what you want to see, where to go, maps and locations, and reminders of any seminars you don’t want to miss. They also offer a “Come Back Another Day” free ticket if you ask at their Information Booth.

If you are interested in or already are an avid RVer, try to make it to an RV Show this year.  With improvements in the recent economy, the industry has done its homework and added many new models and features to meet the demands of new millennials entering the market along with new technologies for all to make your RV Lifestyle the best ever.  Have fun!
